Lutheran Family Service will be hosting the 1^st Annual Fund Raising Dinner on September 29, 2016 in Des Moines.  Please join us for an evening of learning, inspiration, entertainment and opportunity.

Our featured speaker, Kimberly Tyson, the Marketing & Snowflakes Director of the Embryo Adoption Awareness Center in Loveland, Colorado will be discussing EMBRYO RESCUE.  More than 600,000 embryos have been created and are currently being stored through cryopreservation (freezing) in the United States and are at risk for destruction.

Embryo Rescue provides not only the possibility for them to be born, but an opportunity for them to learn of God’s awesome love and His saving grace though baptism. LFS hopes to educate about this significant opportunity to bring Christ to this needy group of pre-born persons who are often overlooked and frequently discarded as if their life had no value.  We know God gives value to every human life no matter how young or small.  Lutheran Family Service hopes to match these embryos with forever moms and dads who will teach and show them God’s boundless love.

The fundraising dinner will be held at 6:00 p.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 8301 Aurora Avenue, Urbandale, IA  50322. See below to get signed up!
