A pregnancy can be a stressful time of concern and doubt. An unplanned pregnancy even more so. However, the incredible responsibility of bringing another life into the world is just that—incredible. At Lutheran Family Service and Many Hearts Unplanned Pregnancy Support, we are committed to help you create a plan that allows you to realize the beauty and joy of bringing a new life into the world through parenting or adoption.

Working throughout the states of Iowa, Eastern Nebraska, Eastern South Dakota, and North & Central Illinois, Lutheran Family Service and Many Hearts unplanned pregnancy counselors travel to homes, schools and hospitals to support young women facing unplanned pregnancy making life-affirming choices for their future and the future of their babies.

Many times, a woman with an unplanned pregnancy just needs a safe place to explore her thoughts and feelings without being judged. Lutheran Family Service and Many Hearts Unplanned Pregnancy Support offers professional pregnancy counseling and no-pressure consultation with workers who listen to you, provide you with needed resources and walk alongside you the whole way. Our goal is to help you develop a plan that best fits your needs and the needs of your soon-to-be-born baby.

Every pregnancy is unique and different. Let us help you find your path whether that be parenting or placing for adoption.

If you are considering adoption, we want you to know that we have families waiting to love and receive a child into their arms. These families have passed all requirements through the state and additional requirements through Lutheran Family Service. Should you choose to place your baby for adoption, you will get to review each families’ profile book and choose the family that is right for your little one.
