Lutheran Family Service brings Christ-centered hope, expertise, and care beyond our offices and into churches and communities. Through Congregational Outreach, we equip LCMS pastors, congregations, and church workers with thoughtful, culturally aware resources that uphold God’s gift of life and strengthen individuals and communities in every stage of life.
Lutheran Family Service offers a wide range of Christ-centered presentations designed to support pastors, church workers, families, educators, and congregations as they navigate complex cultural, mental health, and life issues. All presentations are grounded in Scripture, informed by clinical or pastoral expertise, and can be tailored to the needs of the host.

LFS offers several presentations and support formats focused on understanding and responding to anxiety from both a clinical and Gospel-centered perspective. These sessions help participants recognize anxiety, reduce stigma, develop practical coping strategies, and discern when professional care is needed.
Available formats include general presentations, pastor-focused training, parent and school presentations, and a 6–8 week Christ-centered anxiety support group. These offerings equip individuals, families, and church leaders to respond to anxiety with compassion, wisdom, and hope.

This multi-session series examines the impact of internet-connected screens, social media, and AI on mental health, relationships, family life, and faith. Drawing on Scripture and cultural analysis, participants learn how technology shapes desires, imagination, and identity—and how Christians can reclaim God’s good, three-dimensional gifts of life, vocation, and community.
Presentations may be offered as single workshops, multi-session conferences, school presentations, webinars, or consultations for families, pastors, and educators.

This comprehensive series addresses questions of identity—particularly gender identity—from a Lutheran theological and clinical perspective. Emphasis is placed on God’s good created order, identity received in Baptism, and compassionate care rooted in the Gospel.
Offerings include presentations for pastors, parents, educators, congregations, and schools, as well as parent support groups, clinician consultation, and access to a specialized counseling team. Topics range from theological foundations of identity to practical guidance for families, educators, and church leaders responding to gender confusion with truth and love.
Across all topic areas, Lutheran Family Service provides professional consultation for pastors, church workers, educators, and administrators who encounter mental health or family concerns in ministry.
