Tiffany Bergman has recently joined the Lutheran Family Service ministry team and will be serving as a pregnancy counselor and adoption caseworker out of the Urbandale, IA office.
“I consider myself a support system for moms as they go through their pregnancy journey. I listen to their unique life story and background, and provide a non-judgmental sounding board for them to explore their options. And through this journey, they have to make decisions on how to best “love” their baby. I will walk with these women and help to prepare them for either parenting or placing for adoption.”
Tiffany brings to the team her many years of experience as a social worker in the fields of foster care and working with individuals with disabilities. In addition to her experience, Tiffany brings her compassion to help women in crisis pregnancies, babies in need of Jesus’ love, and families navigating the journey of adoption.
“I will also be here for families that God has called upon to adopt throughout their journey. It’s such a joy to see these children brought up into the Christian faith and come to know how much Jesus loves them.”
When asked why Tiffany chose to work for Lutheran Family Service, she shared that, “After a lot of prayer, thoughts and discussion, I decided I wanted to be a part of something so wonderful. I feel called to make a difference in the lives of women, children and families. Lutheran Family Service is faith-based. Being surrounded by people of faith makes even the difficult days more bearable because someone will always be there to remind you that you are surrounded by people and a Lord that gives you the strength you need to continue on.”
