Concordia Plan Services has rolled out a new enhanced employee assistance program (EAP) through Evernorth Health Services: Confide Behavioral Health Navigator. Effective May 1, 2024, Confide has been designed to offer a concierge-level support to help guide users toward the best resources available for them. Confide is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days of the year. They assist in connecting users to therapists, financial planners, and even locating daycares.

Benefits to Support Your Mental Health

Here’s a snapshot of the benefits of Confide (benefits vary by employer; please check with your HR representative):

• 8 Face-to-face or virtual counseling sessions (per topic)
• Unlimited clinical telephonic support
• Access to support groups, self-guided programs
• Home life referrals, such as elder care, childcare
• Financial and legal services (employment related legal issues are not covered)
• Job and career support
• Household benefit, prepaid by your employer
• Confidential support, available 24/7/365
• Access to in-network appointments
• Coordination with your insurance 
• 100% follow-up after every case

Confide resources can be accessed through phone consultations. A licensed telephonic clinician will assist in identifying resources, exploring treatment options, and making an action plan. They will provide search assistance in finding licensed therapists (like those at Lutheran Family Service) and provide up to 8 face-to-face/virtual session per issue at no cost. Crisis intervention/support is immediately available for all household members. *EAP sessions approved before the May 1, 2024 rollout will expire at 6 sessions.

Additional benefits are available through Prevail Health which include digital self-guided tools for resilience, peer support, and coaching.

Coordinating with Your Healthcare Plan

Evernorth will coordinate with your healthcare plan so insurance is never a barrier to getting help and will assist in helping locate in-network providers. They also provide home life referral resources including child care, elder care, adoption, education, pet care, convenience services, online support, legal consultations, financial consultations, and identity theft.
