Meet Emma!

Emma’s birthmother struggled with addiction for the past five years, and her life had spiraled out of control.

While incarnated, she learned she was pregnant. Through the hand of God, she was directed to Many Hearts Unplanned Pregnancy Support. The caseworker met with her regularly, transported her to prenatal visits, prayed with her, visited with her in jail, and supported her through the highs and lows.

The pregnancy was a roller coaster but she chose life for her baby and she picked an adoptive family that could see past her faults and was willing to have an open adoption. This birthmother has been clean since the birth, loves her baby girl, and is thankful for adoption.

This Christian adoption was only made possible by your prayerful and financial support of Lutheran Family Service and Many Hearts unplanned pregnancy support. It is only because of this financial support that we can continue to walk alongside women facing an unplanned pregnancy, helping create life-affirming plans, all at no cost to them. Because of you, our support doesn’t end there. We are able to continue counseling and support for these women as long as they need us after birth and/or adoption.
